My Minimal Hoarding Life - January Check In - 2021 Resolutions

I make four resolutions, or goals, to accomplish each year. Some years I make it with all of them, some years I don`t. Usually two are easy and two are hard.

I make a word, or phrase, of how I plan to be for the year and this year I have chosen "Easy and Wonderful." The reason being my life changed so much in 2020, that I know this year will be easy and wonderful so I speak these words over my life.

1- Practice The Three R`s

The three R`s are  1- reduce , 2- recycle, 3- re-purpose.
This resolution is happening! I have been recycling most everything that I can. I have been reusing bottles to make craft things, I made some cute V day bottles. Using the jars for odds and ends around the house, for instance stray screws, nuts, bolts and nails. I am retraining myself to reduce, that is getting better.

100% accomplishing.

2-  Books - Read More - Write More

I checked out  Fortune and Glory by  Janet Evanovich from the local library and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I do recommend her books, they are easy reads and her characters are free spirits that are easy to love.

As for writing more, well, that would be a no. I seem to be in a spot of not writers block but more of how to make time for writing and not take time from life. I will get that balance soon.

50 - 50 for this one.

3 - The Bucket List

Nope. I really haven`t thought that much about my bucket list because I have been so busy with projects. I think that during the warmer months More of these will come into play and hopefully the Covid virus will be under control.

100% fail

4 - Spend Less - Earn More

I cannot say that I spent less, no change in this area at all.  I need to be more mindful about spending. I am trying to earn more with store sales, I am ahead and not in the red so that is good.

50 - 50 for this one.

There, that is how my 2021 resolutions are going.
